musicpainting posters... 'a picture paints a thousand words'....well almost!

When trying to conduct 'Messy Church' sessions, Helen, project leader, wanted to avoid a formal start as this would be too much like school and she felt that it could be off-putting to parents and children alike. I decided to create an A1 poster to emphasise what the sessions were about and how paint should be used etc.... This I hoped would in some way assist late comers, without me having to explain from scratch. Without the formal start to explain the sensible and safe use of materials everyone and everthing runs the risk of getting covered in paint.

The posters were placed on the four walls and were of some success. The expressions on the faces of the women listening to the music, powerfully expresses what musicpainting is all about, but the image of mixing colour is no substitute of a lesson starter.
